[FREE] MiTurno ✋ Raise-Hand Gimmick for Mute & Non-Verbal VRChat Players | Phrase Clouds · 11 Languages [Modular Avatar]

No voice? No problem. Raise your hand ✋ and take your turn. For quiet players, loud rooms and everyone in between.

MiTurno is a free Modular Avatar gimmick for saying "I'd like to speak" without your voice: for mute and non-verbal users, sign-language users, people without a mic, and anyone who finds it hard to cut in.

- Raise hand ✋: a thought cloud with a waving hand appears beside your head (your right side) and your head ring turns amber. Clears after 20 s; press again to cancel.

- When someone touches your ✋ cloud, it turns into 👀 for 3 s (they need VR hands).

- "I see you" 👀, 8 phrase clouds and Do not disturb (red cloud with a sleeping moon) appear on your left side.

- Cloud language, selectable in game (11 options incl. icons only): English, 日本語, Español, 한국어, 中文(简体), 中文(繁體), Português (BR), Français, Deutsch, Русский, or icons only. Each cloud shows only the language you pick, and everyone sees your choice. English and Spanish are reviewed; the other languages are machine-assisted and not yet checked by native speakers, so corrections are welcome.

- Ring above the head: reacts to your voice, amber with a raised hand, red in DND.

- Private wrist alert when another MiTurno wearer nearby raises their hand.

- Hand-raise gesture for VR humanoids (open hand above the head ~0.8 s); Signing mode turns it off.

- Your own clouds are hidden in first person (VRC Head Chop), so they never block your view. Mirrors, cameras and other players see them.

- English menu by default; Japanese and Spanish menus included.

- One-click installer: Tools > MiTurno > Add to selected avatar.

Tested in VRChat PC (desktop). If something doesn't show for other players, please tell me. Not tested yet: what other players see (sync), VR head tilt / gesture / touch, the wrist alert between two people, Quest/Android, and Generic or no-bone avatars in VRChat.

Requirements: Unity 2022.3.22f1, VRChat SDK3 Avatars 3.10.5, Modular Avatar 1.18.7 (not included).

Cost (measured in the Unity editor): 20 synced bits, 1 contact sender + 3 Local Only receivers, 1 skinned mesh, 1 material, about 4,500 triangles, 1 texture (2048×2048), 1 VRC Position Constraint, 1 VRC Head Chop.

Terms: use and modify it on your avatars, including commercial use (streams, videos, commissions) and inside avatars you sell, as part of the avatar. Do not redistribute or resell MiTurno itself or its files. Full text in LICENSE.txt.
