A Japanese-style bonsai 3D prop for VRChat worlds and homes.This one is a flowering cherry trained in the windswept (fukinagashi) style: the whole trunksweeps to one side as if bent by a strong wind, and every branch reaches out in the samedirection, following the curve of the trunk. The base 3D mesh and its base-colour texture were generated with Meshy, an image-to-3D AI tool. The input was a reference image of a bonsai that we prepared ourselves; no third-party artwork or scanned model was used as input.
What was done by hand, without AI:
Retopology and decimation to a VRChat-friendly triangle budget, removal of unwanted geometry, material setup, scaling to real-world size, prefab construction, multi-angle quality inspection, product photography and packaging.
