Japanese Bonsai - Black Pine in Full Cascade (Kengai) Style with Display Stand | VRChat World Prop

A Japanese-style bonsai 3D prop for VRChat worlds and homes.

This one is a kuromatsu (Japanese black pine) trained in the full cascade ("kengai")

style - the trunk plunges far below the base of the pot, like a tree throwing itself off

a cliff. Even as it falls, the branch tips turn slightly upward, and a bleached deadwood

spar ("jin") reaches for the sky. Named "Hibaku" - a waterfall striking the rocks as it

drops. This is the first full cascade in our lineup; our other cascade-style pieces are

semi-cascades whose branches stay closer to the height of the pot.

1. Import the unitypackage into a Unity project with the VRChat SDK (Worlds)

2. Drag the tree prefab into your scene, and place the stand prefab too if you want it

3. Optionally switch the shader to liltoon or similar

The base 3D mesh and its color texture were generated with Meshy, an image-to-3D AI

tool, from reference images we produced ourselves. Everything downstream was done by

hand: retopology and decimation to a VRChat-friendly triangle budget, material setup,

scaling to real-world size, prefab construction, multi-angle quality inspection, and

packaging. Generated under a paid Meshy plan, which grants full commercial and resale

rights to the output. The display stand was modeled by the creator, not AI-generated.
