상품 설명

Tattoo decal set for Origin Avatar. That needs poiyomi to work (yes the free version works too)

Just drag and drop onto a decal slot and change the emission for glow, the color to be any you want, and the alpha for it to actually show up on your avi. (video tutorial up above ;P)

Includes 2 designs with an additional version of one design that’s less complicated XD.

Woad?
These aren’t based on specific paint/tattoos that the Picts may of worn. As we aren’t sure what those may have looked like. We have an idea that they most likely painted their bodies with some sort of blue paint. We used to think it was Woad, a plant cultivated in bronze/iron age Briton that did/does produce a blue dye. But while this works for clothing, there is some recent evidence that it is not so good for bodypaint and they might have used a copper/clay based pigment.

Though this is an ongoing debate. Ultimately we are unsure of what exactly was used, and there is contemporary recipes for woad paint that very well could have been used in Ancient Briton.

Designs
The Swirly 'Woad Warrior' design is really just something that I thought looked cool, heavily inspired by games such as Rome Total War 1 and other modern media. It most likely is not how the body paint looked, nor was woad the source of that paint. But! I think it looks super cool and mysterious and fierce, and woad body paint just sounds cool. SO there!

The 'Pict' design(s) are based on ancient stones created by a people we call the 'Picts' though they most likely called themselves something different. These stones were created from around the 5th-9th Centuries CE beyond the waning influence of Romano Britain. Though the Earliest, called Class I, existed before the introduction of Christianity into Pictish Society. And that's the ones I primarily sourced the symbols from.

Symbology
The Meanings of these symbols aren't known for certain. Though some are obvious, like the Bull on the 'PictFullBody's' right thigh. But the creature depicted on the left one is thought to have been a dolphin, though it is known as just the 'Pictish Beast' as what it truly represents is uncertain. In a similar vein the the 'lighting' symbols on the shoulders, which might be stylistic deceptions of broken spears, represent warriors/death. The 'broken arrow' and moon on the thighs could mean the death of a warrior and their traveling to the afterlife, (same with the one on the butt). The 'mirrors' on the wrists and 'combs' on the forehead and on the moon butt are thought to be representations of beauty.

(So yes, your arms are powerful and beautiful, your stride as strong as a bull and nimble as a dolphin, your thighs can cause people to ascend to the afterlife...and your butt is pretty ;P)
